NUM outraged over SATAWU Gauteng Secretary's murder

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is outraged at the cold-blooded
murder of the SA Transport and Allied Workers Union (SATAWU) Gauteng
secretary Chris Nkosi who was shot and killed on Monday night in
Johannesburg.

It is alleged that Nkosi was ambushed on the N17 last night and shot five
times while driving home.

The NUM urges the law enforcement agencies to take the incident seriously
and arrest these heartless killers.

The NUM extends its heartfelt and deepest condolences to the family of
comrade Chris Nkosi.
