COSATU no letters, white background.jpg 17 April 2015 COSATU to convene Provincial Shopstewards Councils this weekend and next week The Congress of South African Trade Unions will convene Provincial Shopstewards Councils in terms of Section 8 of the Constitution on 'Shopsteward Council', which are attended by all Affiliates. The Councils will provide a platform for the Federation to report on Special Central Executive Committee decisions, appraise workers on current public service negotiations and also mobilize all workers to attend the coming 129th Anniversary of Workers' Day across all Provinces. The Councils are as follows: On the 18th April 2015, the Council will be held in Free State . Time: 10h00 . Venue: Thabong Community Centre, Welkom .
