General Secretary cancels engagements SACP General Secretary Comrade Blade Nzimande to hold an urgent meeting in Kwa-Zulu Natal and visit the family of a Party member who was shot dead by a suspected hitman A suspected hitman made his way to a meeting of the SACP on Sunday, 24 January 2016 at the Inchanga sports ground outside Durban and shot dead one SACP member and injured three others. As a result the South African Communist Party (SACP) General Secretary Comrade Blade Nzimande has set aside all his scheduled engagements. This in order to hold an urgent briefing session with the Provincial Executive Committee of the Party in the province of Moses Mabhida (Kwa-Zulu Natal) and visit the family of the deceased and the victims. The meeting will take place as follows: . Date: 27 January 2016 (Wednesday) . Time: 10h00 . Venue: SACP Moses Mabhida Provincial Office, 321 Anton Lembede Street, 7 Floor SADTU House, Durban.
