SABC.png 'Jobs for cash' report lacks credibility, says SADTU SABC, Johannesburg, 26 March 2016 Teacher union SADTU says the soon to be released Ministerial Task Team (MTT)report on the so-called "jobs for cash" scandal lacks credibility. It says the report, set to be released next month, cannot be an accurate reflection of the situation on the ground. SADTU argues it was not given an opportunity to comment on the interim report before Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga briefed the media on it. This follows investigations into allegations that SADTU members were involved in selling teaching posts. SADTU spokesperson Nomusa Cembi says they've noted with concerns the contents of the leaked report. "One of our major concerns is that the interim MTT report was leaked to the media and other parties before the affected parties were provided with a copy of the report. "Following the leakage of the report, the Minister held a press conference making known the findings of the MTT. At that stage SADTU was not afforded the courtesy of seeing the report or making comments thereon," says Cembi.
