YCLSA Discussion Google Group, 5 June 2016 New Settings As moderator, I have made a review of the settings of this group. The settings are many. They are complex; in other words, they interact, so that changing one setting can enable or disable another one. Google does not provide very much help, and it provides no live on-line assistance at all. >From time to time it changes the way the groups operate, without warning or notice. Some of these innovations are good, and are worth taking advantage of. I have made a number of changes to the settings. I hope the changes are going to improve the user-friendliness and functionality of the group. Please write to the group if there is something you would want to do on the group, but cannot do. We can share experience about these things, and possibly make more changes. You can now add subscribers direct One of the changes that I have made is to allow subscribers to add other subscribers, direct. I am not easily able to see how this function will appear to the normal subscriber. But it should be possible for you to add new members now, without sending the addresses to me.
