COSATU newest.jpg Northern Cape, 29 September 2016 On the World Day for Decent Work All affiliates are committed to the success of the National Strike on 07 October 2016 and we appeal to all our members to go on strike. We assure the workers that their jobs are safe as the strike is protected in terms of the Labour Relations Act and no worker will face disciplinary action for embarking on that strike. There will be a provincial march in Kimberley to deliver a memorandum to the Premier and the captains of industry. All other locals will have pickets in the various employer premises. We are united in our fight against labour brokers, outsourcing, job losses, Tax Laws Amendment Act etc. as well as the struggle for the implementation of the National Minimum Wage and the National Health Insurance.
