CP Mexico 1.jpg Statement of the Communist Party of Mexico (PCM), 14 February 2017 On the Communist Party of Venezuela It is not permissible for a Communist Party to be outlawed! Under no argument is it permissible for a Communist Party to be outlawed, and to cease its electoral rights. He would leave much to be desired by Maduro's government if he so acted against the Communist Party of Venezuela. I will remember something: For many reasons, but above all because of the negative tradition of reactionary coups and military juntas in Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, there was a distrust of the movement led by Colonel Hugo Chávez among the communist parties. It was from an early hour that the PCV helped to clarify the progressive role of the Bolivarian process, *but also its contradictions and limits.* In 1997 at the XIV World Festival of Youth and Students, two years before Chavez won the presidency, the cadres of the PCV and the JCV drew attention to this issue and called for solidarity. In the most difficult moments of this process, both with Chavez and now with Maduro, it was the PCV that managed to mobilize international solidarity. It would be a disloyalty today to outlaw the PCV. The government would also face a dilemma: It would be more to resemble the oppressive regimes that in the Fourth Republic exercised power in Venezuela, than the changes it claims to represent. Total solidarity with the glorious Communist Party of Venezuela, no doubt! __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 14933 (20170214) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com -- -- You are subscribed.
