SADTU Teachers at Work, with logo, smaller.png 3 August 2017 SADTU'S Condolence Message to the Khoza Family The South African Democratic Teachers' Union (SADTU) would like to pay its sincerest condolences to the family of ANC Member of Parliament and Member of the Basic Education Portfolio Committee, Timothy Khoza, who died in a car accident while on an oversight visit to schools in Paarl yesterday. We further express our sympathies to other members of the Portfolio Committee - the Chairperson and ANC MP Nomalungelo Gina, DA MP Ian Ollis and UDM MP Cynthia Majeke who sustained injuries from the accident. We pray for their speedy recovery. MP Khoza, who was a school principal and a member of SADTU before his deployment to Parliament in 2014, lived his life to better the lives of others. May his family and the ANC be comforted in the fact that he died doing just that.
