SOUTH AFRICAN COMMUNIST PARTY DR YUSUF DADOO DISTRICT CONGRESS

*"THEME DEFEND, ADVANCE AND DEEPEN THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC REVOLUTION: THE
VANGUARD ROLE OF SOUTH AFRICAN COMMUNIST PARTY*"

*South African Communist Party Dr. Yusuf Dadoo District convened its 6th
district congress under the theme "Defend, Advance and Deepen the National
Revolution: The vanguard role of South African Communist Party". *

The Congress received political input from, YCLSA represented by District
Secretary cde Mothusi Tsitsing, COSATU represented by Deputy Chairperson
Local Cde Pule Mokgotsi, SANCO represented by Deputy Regional chairperson,
ANC represented by the chairperson Cde Boyce Maneli and Province of the
SACP in Gauteng Province represented by the Second Deputy Secretary Cde
Mandla Radebe.

The congress declared that it will strengthen alliance both
administratively, politically and organizational. That the alliance should
have shared programs both at the district level, sub-regional and branch
level.

The Congress reaffirms that the alliance relations have improved in the
district and we should work tirelessly to improve relations at sub-regional
and branch level, both the Party and alliance partners should work hard to
foster these relations at a branch level.

The congress gave its unwavering support to the leadership of the alliance
African National Congress in our district for winning back the Mogale City
Local Municipality, back in the hands of the people of West Rand. That we
need to strengthen our government institutions with people who have the
capacity and reclaim our role.

We need to unite the alliance, a communist party must be rooted to the
masses and it must represent the aspiration and the demand of the people
and the ANC must follow the trends of leadership. The party needs to deepen
and strengthen itself, where there are no VDs the Alliance should intervene
and strengthen VDs advance the agenda of the alliance.

Congress notes that congress coincides with the National Membership launch
of SACP. SACP Dr. Yusuf Dadoo District declares that they will use the
membership month to services VDs and build the strong membership base of
the Party in this district.

The African National Congress Leadership positions

SACP Dr. Yusuf Dadoo District reaffirms the importance of the Alliance as
equal partners led by the ANC. The congress wants to remind all components
in the alliance that they are equal and they should treat one another in a
respectable manner. The congress declared that the alliance partnership
should be based on active programs supported by all Alliance
Partners.

State and popular Power

The Congress reaffirmed the Party 14th National Congress resolution, that
Party will certainly contest the election. The congress has resolved to
implement a program that will realize the resolution of the Party as we
move towards the Special National Congress next year 2018.

Party and the workers

The party in Dr. Yusuf Dadoo District want to give its unwavering support
to the families of the Miners ( Kusasalethu mine) who perish on the call of
duty and we like to thanks our government of Merafong City, in particular,
the Mayor, Chief, and Speaker the support which they gave to the desist and
their families.

6th SACP Dr. Yusuf Dadoo Congress calls on the Alliance partners to unite,
The relationship at all levels has improved, more need to be done and of
course members of the party must equally be members of the ANC, COSATU, and
SANCO, we need to be members of these organisations to safeguard the
interest of working class and the poor.

The long standing decision of the Party to have Party discussion forums, to
all party leaders who are deployed in the state and outside the state to
have the discussion on how we can advance our revolution.

Discipline

The party condemns factions and anarcho- syndicalist who masquerade as
revolutionaries in our district, while they know that they are parasitic
tenderpreneurs who sells revolution to the highest bidder. SACP nationally
has not taken a position who it supports and comrades for wearing the
t-shirt which is divisive and which provoke disunity within the party
congress is unacceptable and tantamount to anarchy. Congress suspend the
comrades who displayed this irresponsible attitude with immadate effect.
