Yes, for example gmane.mail.mulberry.info is a Yahoo group. Also,
as someone else said, you do not need to have a Yahoo account in
order to subscribe to a Yahoo group. I do not have a Yahoo
account and subscribe to and participate in a number of Yahoo
groups.
BTW, del.icio.us and Gmane are two of my favorite Net things so
it's very pleasing to me to mix them like this!
