Whatever the measures taken by del.icio.us people (they are certainly
very compehensive), it would be a very bad idea, IMHO, to keep all
your data at a remote site, which you do not control, with which you
have no contract, and who can change its policy suddenly. Backup
yourself!
 
Technical note: it does not seem that del.icio.us exports your data as
OPML or XBEL but you can use JSON ("wget
http://del.icio.us/feeds/json/dbinner"; in your crontab) or program
something with the API.
