Hi everyone --
Wanted to let you all know that we pushed-out another update to the
extension this evening. The new version (v1.3.49) is available via
http://addons.mozilla.org and via the auto-update mechanism built into
Firefox. This update corrects several bugs which were reported here and
elsewhere:
- Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the del.icio.us buttons to not
appear after install
- Fixed a bug that could cause an infinite loop under certain conditions
In addition, we added the following enhancements based on your feedback:
- "Favorite Tags" now support tag intersections (e.g. "news+tech") in
both the Bookmarks Toolbar and the Bookmarks menu
- The "Bookmark This Page" dialog is no longer modal
- Both the middle mouse button and Control-clicking now open the
target bookmark in a new tab
- The "Manage Favorite TagsĀ
" interface now provides auto-completion
suggestions from your tags as you type
- The Bookmarks Toolbar can be now be customized like other Toolbars
via View --> Toolbars --> CustomizeĀ
Also, we wanted to let you that we are working on a way for Google
Browser Sync to coexist with del.icio.us Bookmarks. We are also
looking very closely at all the feedback about the loss of native
Firefox bookmarks functionality. Watch for more messages on both
these issues soon, and thanks again for all your honest and helpful
feedback!
