I just installed YDL 4.0 on a 333 Lombard Powerbook. Everything works the way
it should, except the sound. The sound card config utility finds the card, and
can play the test sound perfectly. However,and other sound in the system,
except the volume control clicks, comes out as a horrible screeching noise. Any
program that plays music also crashes the soundserver. This is my first try
with linux, and I intended this powerbook to be an mp3 jukebox. Does anybody
have a way to fix this? Again, thanks for any replies, and for putting up
with my lack of knowledge.
