Hi....

I have an iMAC G5 and I am trying to install YellowDog 4.0 on it. However, I can only get as far as the point where the installation asks me what media I want to use (CD, Hard Drive, FTP, NFS etc.).

Even though I booted of CD, when I select CD, it says it can't detect such a device and asks me if I want to manually select one from a list....

Similarly, when I pick a network install, it says it can't detect the NIC and offers me a list to choose from.....

Network install would be my preferred choice, but I am not sure which NIC to choose....

Is the iMAC G5 NIC supported by YDL?

If so, which NIC should I choose for install......?

Also, if building a custom kernel, which NIC should I compile for the kernel?

Thanx in advance.

Chris Bradshaw.
