I fear that neither Derick nor I assisted you to any degree of accuracy, my

running YDL and Sun box running Solaris. When moving data from the Sun to the
Mac over scp, you are seeing a time-out.
Is this correct?
Can you bypass switches w/a cross over cable?
Are there any bandwidth limiters in your environment?
Have you tried rsync instead?
Are you moving open directories or tar balls?
