The biggest issue is HDCP. A semi-current list of HDCP monitors is
here: http://www.firingsquad.com/hardware/windows_vista-ready_hdcp_lcd_roundup/page2.asp I didn't look through all of them, but I did manage to find the HP f2105 for just over $300. That might be your best bet. Never tried it, though. I run the PS3 through the TV when I'm watching it, or just X-windows or ssh when I'm programming it.
