I'm trying to use YDL on an Xserve but I keep running into problems. I installed YDL 4.1 but the graphics mode is really screwed up where the mouse scans across the screen twice and I have to "wipe" the screen with the mouse in order to refresh it and see the other half. Also it looks like its in 16 color mode. People with similar problems on the web said they used Xconfigurator or Xautoconfig to fix the problem, but when I open the terminal and try to run them it doesnt recognize Xconfigurator and Xautoconfig gives me an error saying that xorg.conf cannot be moved or written to. It gives me the same error even if I change permissions with chmod. Another supposed fix was to reduce the "Display" options of XF86Config to one resolution, but when I try to edit it, I get the same permissions problem. I'm relatively new to Linux so I might be missing something obvious, but any help would be greatly appreciated. T
