The graphics card is a Sonnet Sonata SD 16MB. I found two xorg.conf files, one is in /usr/X11R6/lib/Server/xorg.conf and the other is /etc/X11/xorg.conf are both of them being used?

Maybe post your graphics card and your xorg.conf file? That might help us at least take a look.

Hmm, okay I guess I'll have to figure out the link problem on my own,
but I'm still open to suggestions on the YDL graphics problem.
