jwm is installed in /usr/local/bin by default (just checked it
myself) as are most applications one installs from source.

Usually in gdm or whatever that graphical thing is YDL uses by
default.  One application that Linux on the PS2 had that I wish
YDL had was sdr, which was a console application that could
switch your window manager so you didn't have to futz around
with .xinitrc, .xsession, etc.

Usually the window manager has a "logout" or "exit window
manager" function.
