I'm sure this has come up before, but after ten minutes of searching my old e-mails I figured it's easier to just ask again. I just ran a yum update about two days ago and since then have not been able to run MOL. I get the following error:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc]# startmol -a Mac-on-Linux 0.9.71-pre1 [Aug 27 2004 16:38] Copyright (C) 1997-2004 Samuel Rydh Starting MOL session 0 Loading Mac-on-Linux kernel module: /usr/lib/mol/0.9.71/modules/2.6.10-1.ydl.1/mol.ko insmod: error inserting '/usr/lib/mol/0.9.71/modules/2.6.10-1.ydl.1/mol.ko': -1Invalid module format ==================================================================== Failed to load the module - try recompiling the MOL kernel module. Instructions (and information about common problems) are available at <http://www.maconlinux.org>. ==================================================================== Seems to me like it's looking for the 2.6.10 kernel if I'm reading it right, which of course I don't have yet. What file has the path of the kernel? I'm running on kernel 2.6.9-1. Of course the error says to check on www.maconlinux.org to re-compile, but that site is so disorganized and never up to date. I trust somewhat out there will be able to guide me in this. Thanks.
