Hi,
After resetting pram i'm able to get yaboot to work. Can see it if i rapidly
move my head from side to side in front of my non-working lcd screen and i
see the choices l,x and so on but it doesnt show on my external monitor. If
i hit l it only shows up my lcd and not on n the external screen. And since
i cant see anything I only have the choice of restarting the machine and
pressing X based on a guess that the yaboot screen will show up in a couple
of secs. Bottomline--->I can only work with OSX and not ydl though its
there. Is this a problem with YDL itself that it doesnt support external vga
monitors. I tried turning off mirroring and it still doesnt work.

I have tried that and it stays on agrey screen for a while and then boots
into OSX. I am not sure whats happening.

Sounds like the pram got reset, just hold down the option key until
you get to the OF gui, select the ydl volume (should boot ok) once
your in rerun "ybin -v" to reset yaboot. You should be good to go
after that
