I think this is useless and confusing. With this kind of UIs I
sometimes view a portion
of the file far away from the cursor, and say hit <right arrow>, to
see the editor jump to the
cursor, thereby loosing my focus.

I would not mind too much if others implemented this, but I do not
feel like working on it myself.
