Anyway, the point is that we do not want to emulate every little bit of functionality of emacs and vim. As much as possible we want to do better than both. Basic edition keys are hardwired in most people's brain, so emulation is sensible. For peripheral functionality like dired you should feel free to innovate I think. > No problem now.
