- reformat code according to coding standard (which has yet to be decided, see
"coding standad" thread on yoko-dev)
- apply easy fixes for issues found by static code inspection (e.g. Checkstyle,
IntelliJ IDEA Inspector)
Examples for the second point are instantiation of Boolean, manual arraycopy,
unused imports, and redundant type casts.
