Yep, I've logged in and am able to help manage a few things like Joomla
components and such, so I should be able to help out with the Gallery2
installation easily.

In regard to the Gallery2 extension installation, I've configured it
successfully on one of my projects so I should be able to repeat that ;)

First, the Gallery2 module requires an installation of Gallery2 on the
server:

http://gallery.menalto.com/

Then, the gallery2 component must be downloaded and extracted:

http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_i
d,137/Itemid,35/

Next it must be loaded in as a Joomla component through the administrative
panel. "Installers -> Components". Once installed... it takes a little
configuration in "Components -> Gallery2 -> Config" The Gallery2 album will
then be bridged into Joomla!

The fairly specific discussion of Gallery2 integration into Joomla makes me
wonder if I should start that little web-development list I had mentioned.
So far it'd have Chaks and Walter on it :) Do people on the Yoper-dev list
want to see this type of discussion or would you rather not?
