Hi Armin, It's so good to hear about you... :-)

Well, about the release.. .I'll > have time after the 31th of July - I won't have any time before that date. > Nearly the whole semester now was unexpectedly 60h+/week work. Yes, I knew you were quite busy, but you look quite like a machine.... :-D > Even though, in the few hours I had time to work on yoper I tried to update > NetworkManager to 0.7, which itself has quite some new dependencies, e.g. > PolicyKit. I'm currently using OSS4 in my box. Remember I have a fairly special sound infrastructure, but it works more or less fine. I've been able to make it work on XMMS and Kaffeine but I don't know how to do it in KDE Control Center. I have done almost every possible combination all doomed to failure. Besides, I miss a way to change the default sound device. I'm currently using /dev/oss/envy24ht/spout, so if I remove the /dev/dsp symlink and re-create it pointing to /dev/oss/envy24ht/spout, everything works fine with no need of cofiguration (but KDE) till the next reboot that I have to repeat the process. > I'm really looking forward to continue working on yoper when I have time... > especially lcc made some valuable progress and a first alpha might be ready > for implementation within a month. > > Carlos and the others, thank you for pushing the wheel, I won't let you down - > I just need some more time to come back into business. I'm really looking forward you to finishing all your work load and can give us a hand again. In the meanwhile, don't worry, Tobias and I will push the wheel as strong as we can. > Best regards > > Armin Best regards.
