Unfortunately this is not able to get any sound connection. And this is while that VBox instance is obvioiusly connected to my pulseaudio on the host, and I can even hear making clicks when I hit the scroll end in the terminal on the virtual machine. So the problem does not seem to be that there is no sound connection, but rather that everything has been done magically, and then the magic does not work. I must say, that I am somewhat at a loss with the modern setup. On my desktop, I did some tweaks to get all that automagic stuff deactivated and have qjackctl be the only one to start the jack server, with parameters I control. Unfortunately, I am even unable to deinstall pipewire without deinstalling the whole gnome desktop. Furthermore, I was unable to get qjackctl to launch any server, or to connect to some service via D-Bus. To summarise: - I could build the Patch form Jesper without problems - I could launch Yoshimi standalone, both when linked against FLTK-1.3 and FLTK-1.4 ! I was not able to get any LV2 host to run on that VirtualBox -- Hermann _______________________________________________ Yoshimi-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/yoshimi-devel
