I did the MS Office 2008 update on my iMac (OS 10.6.4), and MAU installed two updates. One was for XML something, and the other was a security update to 12.2.6.
But when I did the MS Office 2008 auto-update on the MacBook Pro (OS 10.6.4), only the security update to 12.2.6 was installed. MAU did not ask to install the XML thing. Both iMac and MacBook Pro have nearly identical installations, OS, Office 2008, etc. Why did iMac get two updates, while MacBook Pro got only one? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Roger S.
