We have a Power Mac G5 running OS 10.4.11 (all updates). We are running MS Office 2008 (all updates).
Entourage and Word open and run fine. Excel opens with an error "Not enough memory." There is enough memory to run Word, Entourage, Photoshop, Illustrator and others. Just in case, I bumped the G5's memory from 1.25 GB to 2.0 GB. I still get the error. PowerPoint opens and quits. It tries to continually open and quit until I do a Force Quit.
