Any suggestion on how to clear this error when I tried to open my Address Book in Entourage 12.2.6? The error says:
------- Entourage cannot open the item due to an error. An unknown error has occurred in Entourage ------- It happened shortly after I added an event to my calendar to pick someone up at the airport. Trashing the event did not help. Has any of the other Entourage users seen this error? It happened to me last weekend and when I rebuilt the Database it hung at the end of the 5th pass. I restarted and it did not clear the error so I restored the Database using the Time Machine from what I thought was a good Database from a few days earlier. I just did a Verify and the Database Utility says there is a problem and I should rebuild. It is hard to rebuild when the utility hangs at the end of the pass #5 of 5 and cannot seem to complete its task. The only problem is when I click on the Address book icon. All other functions are working perfect. I just changed to my wife¹s Entourage identity on this computer and do not get the unknown error when I click on the Address book icon?
