This is probably why the Macintosh Business Unit has its own part of the
website and its own downloads area. They have better control over the user
experience and can avoid confusion. Everything on Microsoft¹s site is
assumed to be for Windows unless it specifically states ³for Mac².
Unfortunately, Mactopia¹s site design has made its download URLs
incredibly unwieldy.

This on the Microsoft Support site:

     <http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2422352>

compared to the same link on the Mactopia site:

<http://www.microsoft.com/mac/downloads.mspx?pid=Mactopia_Office2008&fid=AB
D05074-8FFC-41A4-A2F3-1D8047574552#viewer>

When links get that long they don¹t wrap nicely and aren¹t clickable or at
least are incomplete when clicked.

Each has its drawbacks.
