I just started playing with Outlook 2011, but noticed a few important options missing, or I can¹t find how to impleement them.
- I don¹t see the ³include this account in my Send and receive All² option in the Accounts section. Entourage had this and it is very useful for someone with multiple accounts. - The progress feature in the lower-right of the window isn¹t there. Maybe I¹m overlooking a preference setting for this? - I can¹t drag folders to the desktop and have them create an .mbox item like Entourage did. I also can¹t import an Entourage .mbox file by dragging it into Outlook 2011. Exporting/importing specific folders this way is very useful. - Reading before Outlook was released, I was under the impression that Outlook 2011 used the same .pst files as Windows Outlook. That isn¹t the case. I was lead to believe that Outlook Mac and Windows users could more easily be converted from one platform to the other. -- Bob Johnston -- YouTalk mailing list List information: http://www.entourage.mvps.org/support_options/list.html List moderator: [email protected], [email protected] To unsubscribe: mailto:[email protected]?subject=unsubscribe
