I am running Entourage 12.2.6 with OS 10.6.4.

I did not install the recent updates to either Entourage or OS 10.6.4.
However, I have installed all the prior updates.

My Entourage files disappeared and were replaced by new files. The database
is empty, except for the Entourage "welcome" message.'

-> Additional Note:

The Entourage "Caches" file (used for Spotlight) is still there. It is
located in:

User/Library/Caches/Metadata/Microsoft/Entourage/2008/Main Identity/ [all
subordinate folders]

I quit Entourage normally. Entourage told me that it was deleting trash
files.

When I restarted Entourage, it presented a new, empty, Inbox. All the data
is gone. Everything is gone.

I ran Disk Utility, repaired permissions, repaired hard disk. There were
minor repairs.

I restarted MacBook Pro. Entourage files/database all are still the new,
empty files.

I restarted again on an external disk. All the Entourage files are still the
new, empty files.

I tried a database verify/rebuild, but the database is empty, except for the
Entourage "welcome" message. There is nothing to rebuild.

Is there any way for me to recover the missing database?

(Yes, I have a recent backup. I also have another version of Entourage on a
second Mac, with a similar database.)
