FYI:
I am starting an operationstests unittest frame work. It will be one
abstraction level above the depsolvetests unittest module. It will allow
running install, update and remove on a given set of installed and available
packages. In opposite of the depsolvetests it will also test the package
selection code paths which have turned out to be even trickier than the
depsolver itself.
It will in no way make the depsolvetests obsolete although it might share
some of the scenarios. With both test frame works it will be much easier to
point fingers to the right piece of code.
