I have attached the screen log of git for two subsequent runs of 'git
clone' for yum.git and yum-utils.git .
I didn't try on other machine because (a) git is not installed on
machines I have access to, (b) I don't have root privileges to
install git.
FYI, I am behind my institute proxy and don't have direct access to
internet.
