I've searched the archives without success, but maybe I just haven't found the right search terms. Has there been any discussion of what would be involved to do an in-place conversion from i686/i386 to x86_64?
If not, then what areas would need work to prepare the necessary transaction set? Are there anything which couldn't be made to work?
