I was the other 'talked about it on irc' person and this doesn't sound
terrible - I'm only wondering if there any other lookups that can
benefit from this sort of quasi-sane heuristic.

my only sideways thought about the name-prefix test would be to make it
a minimum of say 6 chars match, so we don't get a too small of a match.
