Hi all!

The regular expressions don't work fine with 'yum list' with latest checkout of yum source. See the following outputs of yum-3.2.7 and yum-3.2.12 on the same machine. yum-3.2.12 is git checkout from linux.duke.edu.

######################## yum-3.2.7 ##################################
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.21-1.3194.fc7 #1 SMP Wed May 23 22:35:01 EDT 2007 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# yum --version
3.2.7
[EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# yum list yum-*

When you run this command, are there any files named yum-* in that dir?

I ran those command in yum source directory. But running from other directories or running with yum\-* is giving correct results.

if you run:
yum list yum-\*

does it work correctly?

   yes.
