Hi,
I'm working on a little project to help manage the patches on all of the
machines in our development environment. So far, I've been using
pythons commands.getouput to manipulate yum. I read about the python
bindings for yum, but can't find an API reference or any tutorials
published. I'm not writing a yum plugin, just an app that wraps yum
functionality.
I've figured out how to use YumBase to see what updates are available
for a system. What I'd like to know is, can I also get the package
md5/sha checksum that is stored in the metadata?
Thanks,
Chuck Wheat
