Hi, I am currently trying to get to know more of the yum intrinsics because I think of creating a Web app for repository management. Now I noticed, that Yum is a pure Python application, but still only distributes as RPM or DEB packages. Why is that? Or asked the other way around, why is there no PyPi package for it?
Just curious whether there is some technical or organisational reason, as I can see, that RPM suits your needs better anyway. -Stefan
