There's a new DNF build available for F18 since yesterday:

There's no new visible changes, only a bugfix.
Significant changes:
847098 - [i18n] dnf tracebacks when user input is about to happen under
an accented language
Let me know if you'd like to test in F17 and I'll build the stack for you.
I had a chance this week to start on documentation for hawkey (so needed
by the early experimenters) and a basic tutorial is published now:
