Clever fix indeed. I'm not a rh custommer, just using centos-6.3
Though, I've fixed yume to avoid doing useless and silly stuffs when installroot is "/", so both bugs are fixed and that's cool :-) Thanks for the fast answer. Interesting, I did a fix upstream: http://yum.baseurl.org/gitweb?p=yum.git;a=commitdiff;h=4a82638b521254c67618499f7b7f0178aa6ea700 ...and adding it to rhel-6.4 might still be possible, if you open a BZ (esp. if you are a RH customer).
