Hello,
I built the latest libsolv, hawkey and DNF for F18[1]. It means all the
components of the stack are in their latest (rebased) versions in
updates-testing for F18. This might look too aggressive but DNF is still
a preview and there wouldn't be much point keeping separate master and
f18 branches already now (f18 would be missing way too many features
with no chance of improvement, nobody would preview the rawhide version).
The major improvements in the current F18 DNF since 0.2.18 are:
- options parsing: do not access repositories before cache_c is ready.
(RhBug:889706):
- '--excludes' now works
- forcing latest versions of packages into transactions with '--best'
switch (like yum without --skip-broken) (RhBug:882211)
- '--disablerepo' now works
- dist-sync no longer fails if it has to downgrade packages (RhBug:894339)
- 'dnf install' says if it's skipping a package (RhBug:882851)
I also fixed a couple of tracebacks.
Ales
