Yes I have determined that my player
doesn't have the DTS decoder built in ether. DVD's usually have 3 or 4 different
audio tracks and I guess if the standard stereo audio jacks are used for sound
it's one of the other sound tracks we're hearing. I take it the new audio DVD
doesn't have the extra audio tracks (vob files) and is DTS only. Does it say on
it that a true DTS system is required for playback?
