Some bad news

<m4n1sh> Does the python scripting API provide a way in which a script can be
in background and hook into file open, file close events?
<jghali> lo, no
<jghali> scribus is not multithreaded so there is a long way to do before that
will be possible

I don't think any patch which blocks the operation would be accepted

Title:
Add zeitgeist event logging support for Scribus

Status in Scribus - Open Source Desktop Publishing:
  New
Status in Zeitgeist Data-Sources:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Wasn't sure what section of Zeitgeist to put this in, feel free to
  move it if incorrect.

Scribus, the free, open-source page layout app, typically saves files
in its own format (.sla). Zeitgeist doesn't appear to acknowledge the
existence of .sla files, thus searching for them in, for example,
  Unity's Dash is a no-go.
