I have mostly worked for large corporations in my life, and I find
Journey to the West to be extremely funny.

Doing things because of stuff written on paper instead of good
judgment is par for the course, even when the magitude of the
consequent waste is visible to all. Pretending that schedules made up
contrary to the advise of the experienced people (because the project
would be too expensive if it took as long as was predicted), and then
having long meetings to find out what went wrong when it took the
expected amount of time.

Filling out time sheets, pursued by VPs who you think would be able to
find productive activity to busy themselves with, slotting time into
ten slices that do not reflect the work one actually does. Arg.
