Hi Vince;

How very nice to hear back from you again.  It was ages since last we heard
about you.  How are you?.  How is your child?.  He must be grown up a bit since
last time you told us about him.

No, I don't live in Japan.  I'm always in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Mike from this
group is the one who lives in Kyoto.  And Fumiko a colleague and years friend
who lives in Tokyo.  It's through Fumiko (not in the zen forum) but personal
emails  that the distressful news from Japan reached first my boyfriend and
myself. She expressed the wish to leave Tokyo just when the first reactor of
the central nuclear started to experience troubles.

Fumiko was correct in her fear and there was an explosion of first reactor.
Since then more reactors had troubles.  But I know all the rest of the rest
news through the you tube news. She then only sent a personal note to all her
friends all over the world for us to spread it everywhere.  Although Tokyo
appears tranquil,  there is fear in the Japanese population of radiation being
already in some areas of the city.   She showed gratitude for all concerning
about her Country.  She told us at the moment she won't be able to be in
contact but that she will be as soon as the conditions will be appropriate for
her to do so.

Good day to you and your child
Mayka

Mayka, I know you live outside of the US...are you in Japan? If so, I hope
you're doing well through all of this...if you DON'T live in Japan, I still
hope you're doing well...-

Hello all;

Not sure if this music will be to all taste but if Red Cross intention counts
on something here it goes:

I like the sentence that says:
"There is no dream we can't achieve if we work all together".
