JMJM, I would be interested in participating in this. I was brought up as a Christian and have gone through a lot of Bible study. I agree wholeheartedly with your premise.
If you haven't already read it, I'd suggest you find a copy of a small book called THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ZEN.
