Steve,

I first became involved in Zen Buddhism for a number of reasons among which
were:
- I was dissatisfied with Christianity.
- A couple of my friends had become involved with Zen.
- I read a couple books of Alan Watts and became more intrigued with Zen.
- I though Zen was 'cool' and mysterious, and I wanted to be 'cool' and
mysterious too.
- When I relocated to California (from Indiana) the newly-opened Zen Center of
Los Angeles was conveniently located for me.

...Bill!
