Hi Mel,

I found the 6 realms fascinating, and insightful, but not useful in a real
sense
- it doesn't apply to the inner / hidden world that Buddhism, it seems to me,
is
tapping into.

It also seems to me that Zen is allowed to think and think and think about
refined intellectual Zen (good luck to it!), but beginners and non-Zen thinking
is somewhat frowned on.

I will continue decluttering my room.

:-)

Beverley.

Hi Beverley. You'll get a lot of this on the net. The only exception I can
think
of is the ZEN GUIDE website, whose members can be quite unforgiving with those
who think far tooooo much

For the moment, I suggest concentrating on basic zen. Too many concepts
collected here and there does nothing but cause all sorts of unnecessary
confusion. There is one way of looking at this....which calms your mind, a
cluttered, or uncluttered room? Which do you prefer, a head filled with all
sorts of things(including rubbish), or a clear and calm one?

Buddha be praised
